Keeping tabs on Monday's morning commute

This is supposed to be the last week of road work on Hwy. 169 across the Bloomington Ferry Bridge. Meanwhile, all work on Hwy. 169 between 77th Avenue and Hwy. 55 has wrapped up and all lanes are open.

Good morning, commuters!

In case your missed it, MnDOT has closed the ramp from southbound 35W to northbound (eastbound) Hwy. 13 after crews discovered damage over the weekend during a painting project.

The ramp from northbound (eastbound) Hwy. 13 to southbound 35W remains closed for the same reason.

On a more cheery note, the weekend work on southbound Hwy. 169 has wrapped up and all lanes between 77th Avenue and Hwy. 55 are back open.

The work on Hwy. 10 through Anoka is still in place between Greenhave Drive and 7th Avenue.

And this is supposed to be the last week of road work on Hwy. 169 across the Bloomington Ferry Bridge.

Ill be keeping an eye on the roads and rails this morning, reporting any delays or issues — and I will need your help.

If you see or hear about any congestion, delays or problems, e-mail drive@startribune or tweet @stribdrive.

As an eviction crisis has seemed increasingly likely this summer, everyone in the housing market has made the same plea to Washington: Send money — lots of it — that would keep renters in their homes and landlords afloat.
