Good morning commuters.

It is an absolute mess out there with fog, mist and the wet roads greeting drivers on the mainline, snowpacked and icy conditions on sidestreets and lesser-traveled roads. Watch out on those ramps and bridge decks, too.

Already, we have a few accidents to deal with.

On 494 in Bloomington, we've got a crash eastbound at 34th Avenue where the left shoulder is blocked. On the westbound side, the right shoulder is blocked at Cedar Avenue.

A semitrailer truck landed in the ditch on eastbound Crosstown at Xerxes Avenue.
