Keeping tabs on Friday's morning commute

For now, it's all quiet on the roads with traffic flowing fast and free. The road work on Hwy. 100 at Minnetonka Blvd. and on northbound 494 at 394 has cleared. All lanes are open.

Good morning, commuters!

This promises to be an active weekend in terms of road construction and lane closures. I'll have a complete roundup later this morning.

For now, it's all quiet on the roads with traffic flowing fast and free. The road work on Hwy. 100 at Minnetonka Blvd. and on northbound 494 at 394 has cleared. All lanes are open.

I'll be keeping an eye on the roads and rails this morning, reporting any delays or issues — and I will need your help.

If you see or hear about any congestion, delays or problems, e-mail drive@startribune or tweet @stribdrive.
