Good morning, commuters!

It's usually quiet and uneventful on the roads at this hour, and that's the case this morning. Conditions are good and traffic volumes are light.

Look out for the tow truck that is hooking up a stalled vehicle on the ramp from Hwy. 280 to westbound 94. That should be out of there in the next few minutes.

We have lots of road construction for the weekend. I'll have a full rundown posted on my blog after the morning rush.

Until then, I'll be keeping an eye on the roads and rails this morning, reporting any delays or issues — and I will need your help.

If you see or hear about any congestion, delays or problems, e-mail drive@startribune or tweet @stribdrive.
