Keeping tabs on Friday's morning commute

Good morning, commuters!

Everything is open and flowing fast at the moment, but we've got several road closures on tap for the weekend from 10 p.m. tonight to 5 a.m. Monday.

Among them are:

I-94 in St. Paul from I-35E to Hwy. 61 due to demolition work on the Lafayette Bridge.

Crosstown in both directions between Hwy. 100 and 35W. Eastbound traffic will have access to Fairview Southdale Hospital in Edina.

Then, starting Sunday night, southbound Hwy. 169 from Hwy. 212 to Valley View Road closes until early July. And in Lakeville, I-35 goes down to a single lane from Kenwood Trail and 210th Street goes down to a single lane.

I'll be keeping an eye on the roads and rails this morning, reporting any delays or issues — and I will need your help.

If you see or hear about any congestion, delays or problems, e-mail drive@startribune or tweet @stribdrive.
