Good morning, commuters!

Roads are in good shape at the moment, but a mix of rain, snow and some freezing rains is knocking on the door of the metro area.

Unfortunately, it's poised to move in during the peak of the rush hour.

For those who leave now, roads are wide open and traffic is moving swiftly. We are accident and incident free.

I'll be keeping an eye on the roads and rails this morning, reporting any delays or issues — and I will need your help.

If you see or hear about any congestion, delays or problems, e-mail drive@startribune or tweet @stribdrive.
