Good morning, commuters!

We start today with a serious injury crash in the south metro. Northbound Hwy. 52 is shut down at County Road 42 in Rosemount where a semitrailer truck rolled over earlier this morning and burst into flames. The driver was taken to the hospital.

The daily traffic jam on northbound Hwy. 169 at the Bloomington Ferry Bridge will likely be in place in the next few minutes, but for now things are moving just fine there. Delays have been in the 10 to 15-minute range the past few days, so it might be worth it to wait rather than head over to 35W. Traffic on W has been much worse this week.

Overnight road work is still in place on eastbound 494 at Xerxes Avenue and westbound at Lyndale Avenue in Bloomington.

I will be keeping an eye on the roads and rails this morning, reporting any delays or issues — and I will need your help.

If you see or hear about any congestion, delays or problems, e-mail drive@startribune or tweet @stribdrive.
