Keeping tabs on Friday's morning commute

With many people off for the long holiday weekend, traffic volumes are extremely light at this hour, and I expect that to be the case all day.

Good morning, commuters!

It's good to be back in the driver's seat today after some time off. A special thanks to my teammates for pitching in while I was away.

With many people off for the long holiday weekend, traffic volumes are extremely light at this hour, and I expect that to be the case all day.

I will be keeping an eye on the roads and rails this morning, reporting any delays or issues — and I will need your help.

If you see or hear about any congestion, delays or problems, e-mail drive@startribune or tweet @stribdrive.
