Good morning, commuters!

We wrap up another work week with dry roads and light levels of traffic at this hour.

MnDOT crews are wrapping up overnight road work on I-494 in both directions near Penn Avenue. All lanes should be open in the next few minutes.

On Hwy. 36, somebody lost a tire. It's sitting in the right lane on eastbound Hwy. 36 at Lexington Avenue.

This morning, I will be keeping an eye on the roads and rails this morning, reporting any delays or issues — and I will need your help.

If you see or hear about any congestion, delays or problems, leave a comment here, e-mail drive@startribune or tweet @stribdrive.

As an eviction crisis has seemed increasingly likely this summer, everyone in the housing market has made the same plea to Washington: Send money — lots of it — that would keep renters in their homes and landlords afloat.
