Keeping an eye on Tuesday's morning commute

Good morning commuters.

Prepare for another long drive to work. Freeways and highways are generally wet, but there are some slick spots due to refreezing, and some spots that still have that washboard effect.

Lesser traveled roads and city streets remain snow covered and ice packed, so keep the speeds down.

The first incident of the day is in downtown Minneapolis. A vehicle spun out on eastbound 94 at Portland Avenue.

The State Patrol is on the scene of a car that went into the ditch on southbound 494 at Rockford Road in Plymouth.
