Good morning commuters.

It's Christmas Eve day and many people will have the day off, so expect lighter-than-normal levels of traffic on the roads.

For those who do have to venture out, a few flurries are falling in parts of the metro area.

Metro Transit buses and light rail are operating on a reduced service schedule today. Most routes will follow their Saturday schedule, but extra trips will be added to some routes for the morning and evening rush hour.

Some express routes that don't normally operate on Saturdays will have some service today. You can see if your route is running at www.metrotransit.org.
