Keeping an eye on Monday's morning commute

Highways and freeways are wet and slippery so prepare for a slow drive to work.

Good morning commuters.

Highways and freeways are wet with scattered icy spots after a light snowfall over night. Ramps, bridges, and city streets are likely to be slippery so use caution getting out of your neighborhood.

MnDOT has treated the roads, but driving conditions are listed as fair.

We do have a couple incidents on the system at this hour.

A vehicle slipped off the road on westbound Hwy. 212 at Shady Oak Road.

A vehicle laneded in the ditch on eastbound 694 at Lexington Avenue.

There is word of a crash on westbound 94 at Manning Avenue in Woodbury.
