Associated Press photo Even though we could use a little California warmth right now, Katy Perry's California Dreams Tour won't hit the road in the States until summer, with a July 9 concert at Xcel Energy Center. Arenas will be a big step up for Perry, whose previous Twin Cities appearance was at First Avenue in 2009. She's touring behind three recent No. 1 hits "Teenage Dream,""California Gurls" and "Firework." But her album, also titled "Teenage Dream," has been a surprisingly slow seller. However, "California Gurls" was the most popular digital download of 2010, according to Billboard. Perry is nominated for four Grammys, including album of the year. She will perform at the Grammys on Feb. 13. She starts her tour one week later in Europe. The U.S. leg begins June 7. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. January 29. $25-$47, via Ticketmaster, 1-800-745-3000. Swedish dance-pop star Robyn will open.
