Kalil practicing as Vikings move back outside

November 20, 2015 at 5:23PM

We'll have the official injury report later today, but it appears left tackle Matt Kalil will indeed be able to play on Sunday against the Packers.

Kalil was practicing during the brief open portion today. He had missed the past two days because of a toe injury.

The winds have died down so coach Mike Zimmer took the team back outside for today's practice. Unofficially, the toughest players on the team were revealed when Harrison Smith, Xavier Rhodes and Stefon Diggs went sleeveless in the 28-degree weather. Unofficially, the most cold-challenged players on the team were Cordarrelle Patterson and Jarius Wright, who went straight to a heater after stretching, only to find that the heater wasn't turned on.
