University of Minnesota President Eric Kaler supports the NCAA's sanctions on Penn State, he said Monday in a statement, calling the child sexual abuse scandal "a cautionary tale for all of us."
"The culture of big-time college sports must never supersede a culture of safety, compliance, transparency and accountability on our campuses," he said.
Kaler again urged employees to immediately report sexual assault to police.
