Just listed for $3.9 million. This nearly 6,000 square-foot house in Woodland - a tiny town on the shores of Lake Minnetonka, was built in 1933 as a wedding gift for a young couple, including the daughter of the Williams Steel and Hardware family and the son of the Case grain family. Now in the hands of just the second owners, the house has been renovated top to bottom, including extensive landscaping that preserved many of the plants that pre-date the house. There's an orchard and flower gardens, for example from 1913. Check out a video of the house that details its history and restoration. And if you know of an interesting or notable new listing, send a note to jim.buchta@startribune.com.
