Jury finds Ramsey man not guilty of sex assault

A Ramsey man accused of sexually assaulting a neighbor girl was found not guilty by a jury Friday night in Anoka County District Court.

Christopher James Olson, 40, was cleared of all charges in the case, said his attorney, Steven Meshbesher. The jury deliberated for 2 1/2 hours before reaching a verdict.

Olson was charged with two counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct and one count of third-degree criminal sexual conduct , accused of sexually abusing the girl from the time she was about 13 until she was 16.
