INDIANAPOLIS — JR Hildebrand and Luca Filippi will drive the No. 98 car for Barracuda Racing to finish the 2013 season.
The team announced the move Tuesday, bringing on board the 2009 Indy Lights champion who had been without a team since a "mutual" parting with Panther in May.
Hildebrand will drive Barracuda's car at Sonoma on Aug. 25. Filippi will drive it a week later in Baltimore and at two races in Houston in October before Hildebrand finishes the season in California at Fontana.
Filippi made his IndyCar debut in the No. 98 in the Indy 200 at Mid-Ohio on Aug. 4.
