1999 and 2000: Won back-to-back Class 3A individual wrestling state titles (189 pounds) for Northfield, where he graduated with a 3.86 grade-point average.

2002: Wrestled collegiately at Northern Iowa and won Greco-Roman wrestling national championship at the University National Championships.

Sept. 16, 2002: Charged with third-degree sexual abuse stemming from incident at a party in Iowa City.

Aug. 28, 2003: Convicted after a bench trial.

Nov. 7, 2003: Sentenced by District Judge Denver Dillard to mandatory prison term not to exceed 10 years.

2005: Appeal rejected, and Holm was transferred to Anamosa State Penitentiary, a medium-maximum security facility.

April 25, 2010: Released from prison.

May 2010: Won 84-kilogram (185-pound) class in both Greco-Roman and freestyle at Northern Plains Regional tournament.

2011: Won U.S. Greco-Roman title and medaled at three international meets.

April 21-22, 2012: Slated to compete in the 84k weight class in Greco-Roman at U.S. Olympic trials in Iowa City. Goes in ranked No. 2 in the country.
