#: Horse, Jockey, TrainerWt./Odds

1: Spanish Jazz (Mojica, Jr., Bolinger)124/8-1

2: Pensador (Mojica, Bravo)124/9-2

3: Nutty Futty (Loveberry, Gordon)124/4-1

4: Alpine Gathering (Ramgeet, Fields)124/5-1

6: You Funny Man (Thompson, Pearson)124/10-1

7: Alvear (Mawing, Scherer)124/3-1

8: Unbridled Torch (Delorme, Miller)124/12-1

ALPINE GATHERING is versatile and gets stamped in as top choice. Can be on or near the pace, or sit in the back of the pack. Looms big threat at a square price. ALVEAR has been in-the-money in his three starts this summer, including win on the lawn last out. MENDOTA tries the Canterbury lawn for the first time. Ships up from the Chicago circuit, where he banged heads against tougher. NUTTY FUTTY deserves much respect, and is capable in this spot.

2 7½ furlongs on turf. State bred. Open. 3-year-olds and up. Allowance. Purse: $33,000.

#: Horse, Jockey, TrainerWt./Odds

1: Star Spangled (Sanchez, Broberg)124/3-1

2: Stormy Sailor (Lindsay, Brinson)119/8-1

3: Sizzler (Hamilton, Bravo)119/12-1

4: Benson Hillbilly (Mawing, Sweere)124/6-1

5: Best of the Bleu's (Goodwin, Sharp)124/7-2

9: Blues Orbit (Escobar, Rhone)124/12-1

10: Sun Country (Ramgeet, Broberg)124/9-2

STAR SPANGLED exits the fence, for ground saving trip, with sharp turn of foot. Expect to push the pace, with a couple speedsters in front of him. Come catch BEST OF THE BLEU'S to get the win. Quick gelding, wheels back after failing to fire in Sprint Championship seven days ago. BENSON HILLBILLY gets back to running on the turf, where he ran his best speed figure two back. Could be set for a big effort, rolling late, with a expected spirited pace in from of him.

3 1 mile on turf. Open. 3-year-olds and up. Claiming: $12,500. Purse: $13,500.

#: Horse, Jockey, TrainerWt./Odds

1: Megavolt (Sanchez, Anderson)119/6-1

2: Oh What a Dream (Thompson, Keller)124/12-1

3: Ya Antabttsy (Mawing, Kumke)124/8-1

4: Sharpener (Mojica, Diodoro)124/5-2

5: Bye Bye Bennie (Goodwin, Sheehan)124/20-1

10: Tahkodha Royale (Hernandez, Sheehan)124/15-1

11: Mr. Jerry (Arroyo, Litfin)124/20-1

SHARPENER got collared late last out, for his local debut, after shipping in from the west coast. Cutting back 70 yards tonight, makes the opportunity of winning more enticing. DANCING ZAPPER has been third best last two races, including running behind Sharpener last out. PINE GROVE ROAD hasn't run a bad race on the main track this summer, and now switches surfaces and takes the blinkers off. Strong angles for trainer Wade Rarick.

4 6 furlongs. State bred. Fillies and Mares. 3-year-olds and up. Claiming: $10,000. Purse: $10,500.

#: Horse, Jockey, TrainerWt./Odds

1: Book the Band (Delorme, Donlin)120/12-1

2: Morning Report (Hernandez, Westermann)120/5-1

3: Notorious Miss (Mawing, Silva)124/3-1

4: Whatsthebigdeal (Velazquez, Bethke)120/10-1

5: Victory Ice (Goodwin, Scherer)124/6-1

6: Fashion Tour (Delgado, Rarick)120/15-1

7: Fair Lady Miss (Mojica, Bravo)120/10-1

8: Fabulous Dahl (Bedford, Litfin)119/20-1

9: Adorkable (Joubert, Hanson)124/6-1

10: Academic Bay (Canchari, Heitzmann)124/9-2

ACADEMIC BAY won last out around two turns and now cuts back to sprinting, for half the price. Tough to ignore, with Alex Canchari remaining aboard. NOTORIOUS MISS got off to a slow start, but muscled her way to get up for second-best. Could prove tough with clean start. MORNING REPORT last effort sprinting was a two-length win against stronger.

5 5 furlongs. Open. 2-year-olds. Maiden special weight. Purse: $28,000.

#: Horse, Jockey, TrainerWt./Odds

1: Nobrag Justfact (Canchari, Heitzmann)118/7-2

2: John Boy Boogie (Sanchez, Padilla)118/10-1

3: Hung Over On Gin (Mojica, Litfin)118/15-1

4: Jersey Lute (Bedford, Addicott)113/20-1

5: Power Song (Loveberry, Robertson)118/2-1

6: Soul of Discretion (Mawing, McFarlane)118/3-1

7: Lucky Benny (Goodwin, Brinson)118/10-1

8: Oh Brother Jack (Lindsay, McFarlane)118/6-1

NOBRAG JUSTFACT ran third in his debut, to maybe the best two-year old we watched run this year, Amy's Challenge. Draws the rail tonight, and expect to hustle out early with top jock aboard. SOUL OF DISCRETION has some quick drills, including three sharp bullets, in preparation for his inaugu-ration. POWER SONG is a another newcomer to the game, with a steady stream of morning works and for strong connections.

6 5½ furlongs. State bred. Open. 3-year-olds and up. Maiden claiming: $10,000. Purse: $11,500.

#: Horse, Jockey, TrainerWt./Odds

1: Brave Honor (Goodwin, Pfeifer)120/20-1

2: Toupp Ouoolle (Loveberry, Rhone)120/1-1

3: Mystic Shadow (Delorme, Kirby)120/10-1

4: Supermans Bodgit (Mojica, Jr., Wiley)120/30-1

5: Lee's Tough Guy (Lindsay, Donlin, Jr.)124/20-1

6: Miracle Eclipse (Canchari, Donlin)120/9-2

7: Megawhit (Escobar, Rhone)124/15-1

8: Ever On Cowboy (Bedford, Wiley)115/30-1

9: Charlie Con (Hernandez, Peters)120/20-1

10: Tahkodha Sky (Delgado, Sheehan)120/30-1

11: Who Let Dacat Out (Mojica, Fauchald)124/5-1

12: Marco's Tribute (Velazquez, Rhone)120/10-1

TOUPP OUOOLLE gets major class relief after finishing second best in both starts. Good to see Loveberry remaining as the pilot. MIRACLE ECLIPSE took some serious money last race, but once again, had to settle for the skinny shares of the payout. Should sit in great tracking spot, with first crack at front runner. Outside runners WHO LET DACAT OUT and MARCO'S TRIBUTE should be arriving to the scene late. Both are capable in this group.

7 6 furlongs. Open. 3-year-olds and up. Claiming: $6,250. Purse: $11,500.

#: Horse, Jockey, TrainerWt./Odds

1: Stax On Stacks (Sanchez, Tracy)124/9-2

2: Trismen (Lindsay, Rarick)124/10-1

3: Carson's Storm (P. Canchari, L. Canchari)124/8-1

4: Sasstalk (Canchari, Berndt)124/3-1

5: Jumpin Jimineys (Hernandez, Fauchald)124/20-1

6: Illuminatingappeal (Thompson, Pearson)124/4-1

7: Ready Right Now (Loveberry, Robertson)124/5-2

8: Suavemente (Mawing, Gordon)124/12-1

READY RIGHT NOW won two back sprinting at this level, and will probably be lukewarm favorite at post time. Should get snappy fractions to cut loose on. SASSTALK ran in merry-go-round fashion, remaining in the second spot while routing. Most likely another late runner who needs a sizzling pace scenario. STAX ON STACKS and ILLUMINATINGAPPEAL are a couple of Prairie Meadows shippers, with solid numbers coming up. Must use on the tickets.

8 6 furlongs. Fillies and Mares. 3-year-olds and up. Claiming: $6,250. Purse: $10,500.

#: Horse, Jockey, TrainerWt./Odds

1: Dialmynumber (Ramgeet, Lund)120/15-1

2: Quick Zip (Lopez Jr., Pearson)124/12-1

3: Blue Key Rosie (Thompson, Pearson)124/5-2

4: Hey Hey (Hernandez, Berndt)120/3-1

5: Prairie Night (Sanchez, Tracy)124/4-1

6: Glitter's Cupcake (Lindsay, Bethke)124/15-1

7: Pistol Patti (Canchari, Anderson)124/6-1

8: Spot Special (Hamilton, Silva)124/5-1

HEY HEY just missed last out, when winner got the neck down in front of her. Filly keeps im-proving each race. BLUE KEY ROSIE drops for over half the price on the cutback. Don't think the filly enjoyed running for distance last out, and should improve getting back to sprinting. SPOT SPECIAL drops to lowest level of her career, and switches surfaces. Couple of sharp drills leading up to race.
