After allowing his flank steak a few hours to marinate in his honey jalapeño marinade, Sullivan grills it at 450 to 475 degrees for five minutes on each side. He recommends allowing the meat to "temper" outside the refrigerator for a half-hour before grilling. He also recommends using the sweet, flavorful marinade on pork tenderloin.
