Party or principal: Independent, Job and title: Retired, Neighborhood: East Calhoun

Priority, if elected: From now on, for every dollar we spend, we are going to save three dollars. We need to build a war chest of funds. Our water and sewer system is 135 years old. They need to be repaired now. Sorry folks, the party's over. No more stadiums, no more light rail. It's time to move on.

Ideas for job/population growth: We can no longer count on corporate America for jobs. From now on, every home is your place of business. Work for yourself and make millions.

Ideas to reduce crime: If crime is on your mind in this town, we will come down on you like a ton of bricks.

Ideas to lower property taxes: We are going to be the cheapest-run city in the nation. If something can be repaired, it will be. No more throwaways.

Did you support or oppose the Minnesota Vikings stadium package, approved by the city in May 2012? No more support for the Vikings or any other stadium. Right now we are working to deport Zygi Wilf ... for crimes in New Jersey.

Should the city build a $200 million streetcar line along Nicollet and Central Avenues? No.

Should the mayor be allowed to appoint some school board members? No.
