That's the trouble with putting current events on the cover of a monthly in this day and age. The internet has sped up the news cycle so quickly that the cover's out of date right away, even if the wedding does take place. If she'd gone through with it, she probably would have changed her mind in a few weeks, and he would have had to beg her to stay as long as the issue was on the stands. Otherwise we'll have to do stickers. But why did she leave? Was it all, as some have suspected, a publicity ploy by a soulless gold-digger? TMZ says she felt Hef was crimping her career: she wanted to be a singer, and she wanted a bigger weekly allowance than he gave her. The latter part sounds extra creepy, doesn't it? She wanted her allowance increased. You'd say she has daddy issues but it's possible she has granddaddy issues.

Then there's this. which is is just low:

She broke his heart and took his dog. If she'd clipped his pickup on the way out Hef would have the country-music trifecta.

FILE -- A rent deposit slot at an apartment complex in Tucker, Ga., on July 21, 2020. As an eviction crisis has seemed increasingly likely this summer, everyone in the housing market has made the same plea to Washington: Send money — lots of it — that would keep renters in their homes and landlords afloat.
