It is beginning to look like "Extreme Makeover: 'American Idol' Edition." One day after Steven Tyler announced that he was leaving "American Idol," Fox's blockbuster singing competition, Jennifer Lopez said on Friday that she, too, would exit the show. The moves, augmented by speculation that the longest-serving judge, Randy Jackson, may also stop judging, have set up what could be a complete overhaul for "Idol." The changes follow a season when the show for the first time showed ratings vulnerability, dropping 30 percent from the previous year's average. Lopez, who joined "Idol" two years ago with Tyler, told the radio show of "Idol" host Ryan Seacrest: "I honestly feel like the time has come." Her rationale for leaving her $12 million gig was similar to Tyler's, who said he had to get back to performing as lead singer for Aerosmith. Lopez cited the other aspects of her career, "my movies, my music, my this, my that," and the demands of her twins, who are 4. Speculation for replacements has centered on such big-name performers as Mariah Carey, as well as talent associated with "Idol," such as Adam Lambert, a former runner-up.

Sylvester Stallone's son is found dead The 36-year-old son of Sylvester Stallone was found dead Friday, his publicist said. Authorities were investigating Sage Stallone's death, but details were not available. "Sylvester Stallone is devastated and grief-stricken," publicist Michelle Bega said. George Braunstein, an attorney for Sage Stallone, said a housekeeper found his body Friday after friends became concerned because they had not heard from him in the past day. Sage Moonblood Stallone, shown in 1996, was the first of two sons Stallone had with first wife, Sasha Czack. He co-starred with his father in two films, "Rocky V" and "Daylight," and also directed the 2006 short "Vic." Braunstein said Stallone was planning on getting married, and had frequent requests to work on films. "He was just very up and enthusiastic," he said. "He was very proud of his father and proud to be his father's son."

She was 89. Cole died Tuesday in Boca Raton, Fla., after a short battle with cancer, her family said. "Our mom was in a class all by herself," her three daughters said.
