Jeb Bush Thinks 'Supergirl' on CBS Is 'Pretty Hot'

Jeb Bush will probably need some kryptonite if he wants face time with his celebrity crush.

During an appearance at the LIBRE Forum in North Las Vegas on Wednesday, Bush was asked who his favorite superhero is. He initially responded Batman, but then followed up with, "I saw 'Supergirl' on TV. I saw it when I was working out this morning. There's an ad promoting 'Supergirl,' she looked kind of — she looked pretty hot."

According to a tweet from The Guardian's Sabrina Siddiqui, Bush then followed up that comment by saying, "That'll make news."

Bush could certainly use a few headlines these days. According to a new Quinnipiac Republican presidential poll released Thursday, Bush is polling at just five percent in Iowa, well behind front runners Donald Trump and Ben Carson.

That's not to say Bush has been slacking lately. He raised a cool $13.4 million in this year's third quarter, putting him ahead of Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio, but again behind Ben Carson.

Perhaps "Supergirl" star Melissa Benoist would be willing to lend her star power to the GOP candidate's campaign. But then again, that is about as likely as a flying, super-strong alien coming to Earth.
