Jay-Z, Kanye West set date at Target Center

Hoping to reiterate their ruling status among hip-hop royalty with a new duo album, "Watch the Throne," Jay-Z and Kanye West will perform together Oct. 8 at Target Center. Tickets go on sale through Ticketmaster on Aug. 8, the same day the record drops, and they certainly have a monarchical price tag: $99.50-$199.50, with a limited number of $49.50 seats. A pre-sale code will be issued Thursday via LiveNation.com.

The rappers have been longtime collaborators but never officially toured together. Each has filled Target Center before, although it has been seven years since Jay-Z did it. "Throne" is also their first full album together, and its release is highly anticipated despite a lukewarm reaction to the Otis Redding-sampling first single, "Otis."

Winehouse autopsy inconclusiveAn autopsy on Amy Winehouse revealed no cause of death for the 27-year-old retro-soul singer, leaving fans and family to wait for the results of toxicology tests due in two to four weeks. A private funeral for family and friends will be held Tuesday at an undisclosed location, a family spokesman said. Crowds have gathered outside her north London home since her death to light candles and leave flowers and other tributes. "I can't tell you what this means to us," her father, Mitch Winehouse, told fans gathered there Monday. "We're devastated and I'm speechless, but thanks for coming." Amy Winehouse was found dead in her bed Saturday by security guard Andrew Morris. An inquest was opened and adjourned quickly Monday at London's St. Pancras Coroner's Court. Coroner's officer Sharon Duff said the scene of Winehouse's death "was investigated by police and determined nonsuspicious."

CONCERT FUSS: Michael Jackson's mom and four of his siblings announced plans for a tribute concert this fall in Wales, but two of his brothers said they oppose the timing of the show. The pop singer's mother, Katherine Jackson, and siblings La Toya Jackson, Marlon Jackson, Jackie Jackson and Tito Jackson said the show is scheduled for Oct. 8 at Millennium Stadium but did not reveal any performers. Within hours, brothers Jermaine Jackson and Randy Jackson released a statement saying they opposed the show because it will be held during the trial of a doctor charged in their brother's death.
