Janet Jackson is bringing her 36-city tour to the Twin Cities, timed with her release of a new album.

Organizers announced Monday that the Grammy-winning pop star will perform on Nov. 1 at Target Center in Minneapolis.

Tickets go on sale Monday at 10 a.m. at the box office, www.axs.com and by phone at 1-888-929-7849. Prices range from $29.50 to $125 plus fees.

The "Unbreakable World Tour" starts Aug. 31 in Vancouver, British Columbia, and continues in North America through Nov. 12, ending in Honolulu.

Jackson, 49, is releasing her first album in seven years this fall, this one on her own label, Rhythm Nation Records. Her previous studio album was 2008's "Discipline."

Jackson's catalog of hits dates back to the mid-1980s, ranging from "What Have You Done for Me Lately" to "That's the Way Love Goes" to "All for You."
