"Grapes of Wrath," the opera by Ricky Ian Gordon and Michael Korie, had its New York debut in a staged reading at Carnegie Hall. Jane Fonda (whose dad starred in the movie) did the narration. The piece was commissioned by Minnesota Opera and had its premiere at the Ordway Center in St. Paul in 2007.
