If you like crabcakes and the Smithsonian, you should focus on the end of the Twins 2016 spring training schedule, which was released today.

The Twins will complete their 33-game schedule with two games in Washington, D.C. against the Nationals (April 1 and 2). While that might appear to be odd, it's actually a convenient trip. The Twins open the 2016 regular season in Baltimore against the Orioles, so a pit stop in the nation's capital makes sense.

If you want to focus on Florida (and who could blame you?), pitchers and catchers report on Feb. 21, with the full squad due on Feb. 26. Their 15-game home schedule includes visits by the Cardinals (March 8) and Yankees (March 20). And there will be many visits by the crosstown Boston Red Sox.

That reminds me of one other thing. I have to update the Fort Myers food guide!!!
