I'm getting ready to head out to Xcel Energy Center for the final day of the state wrestling tournament. The individual championship matches will begin at 3:30, with team title matches at 7.
Here's a quick glance at my notebook and some of the things I'll be looking for today...
--How many wrestlers from Apple Valley and Simley will win gold? Valley has nine in the3A finals and Simley has seven in 2A.
--Will Apple Valley's Destin McCauley win his fourth state title?
--Will Kenyon-Wanamingo's three Lexvold brothers all win gold?
--Who will win the 1A team title? Frazee vs. Jackson County Central should be a great matchup? (Apple Valley and Simley are overwhelming choices to win the other two team crowns.)
