Rumor has it that Kiss will make its debut at the Minnesota State Fair this year.

I tried to confirm the rumor with State Fair entertainment director Renee Pearson but she declined comment.

The fair has been rolling out its grandstand lineup with a couple acts at a time. Announced thus far are the BoDeans, Carrie Underwood, Rush and Weird Al Yankovic. "A Prairie Home Companion" is booked once again but has not been publicized.

Kiss has announced a July 24 concert at the North Dakota State Fair. But the band's website hasn't posted any more gigs beyond that one.

I bet the Kiss Army will be munching on cheese curds before the show.
