Interviews set for Centennial School District superintendent

The Centennial School District will conduct interviews this week with six candidates to replace interim Superintendent Keith Dixon, who has held the position since July 2011.

The school board will interview three candidates each on Tuesday and Wednesday at 4:30 p.m. at the district offices, 4707 North Rd., Circle Pines. Candidates also will be interviewed by Dixon and an advisory committee. Only the interviews with the board will be open to the public.

Finalists will be interviewed Feb. 25-26, after which the board will make a recommendation. It will approve the new superintendent's contract March 18.

The candidates are: Brian Dietz, Waseca schools superintendent; Matt Grose, Deer River schools superintendent; Jana Hennen-Burr, Elk River Area Schools assistant superintendent; David Law, White Bear Lake Area Schools assistant superintendent; Kim Riesgraf, Osseo Area Schools superintendent; and David Thompson, Stewartville Schools superintendent.
