Percy Harvin, who left the Vikings in a trade to become the new offensive toy for the Seattle Seahawks, was placed on the physically unable to perform list Thursday because of a previously unrevealed hip injury.
The injury is in the area of Harvin's labrum. Coach Pete Carroll did not rule out surgery as the solution but felt the team has time to get Harvin ready.
"Right now we need to get more information," Carroll said. "We don't know enough right now."
