Exceptionally Warm.The same amplification of the jet stream that will bring much colder air intothe eastern part of the country later this week is giving rise to muchabove-normal temperatures in the West. The entire expanse from Arizona and NewMexico northward to Alberta, Canada, will be beautiful the next few days withplenty of sunshine and temperatures in the comfort range.

So what level of warmth are we expecting? How about highs in the 60s as farnorth as Montana and Alberta Thursday and Friday? The low country through theintermountain west will record 70s later this week and the Southwest will havehighs in the 80s and 90s.
