Hi! Here are four recent pics of my mom and I. She has Alzheimer's and I am one of her main care-givers. We are living life out loud, authentically, and with joy. I do hope that you will include one of these photos (your pick!) in your May 8th edition. With warmest regards, Julie McEathron (daughter, St. Paul) Elisabeth McEathron (mother, Grey Cloud Island)

(I always thought my mom was so glamorous in sunglasses. And looking back at pictures, I can see why. She sported some pretty fabulous pairs in a lot of the vacation pictures. These, like all the others no doubt, were probably straight off the rack of our suburban Chicago Walgreen's.) Mark Holmberg 20 Thomas Avenue South Minneapolis

One of my favorite photos of "Me and My Mom" was the day we went to the Minnesota State Fair. Yes, this photo includes my grandmother, my sister and my father, but they complete the story in the image. After all, isn't the mother the center of the entire family? I grew up on a farm in Roseland, MN (pop. less than 100). This photo was taken 77 years ago in 1939 (see car license plate), but I hope you will consider using it to round out the role of the mother through time. (Note: the hats and my m

Here is a photo of my mother and I about a month ago, she would absolutely love this opportunity. As a college kid, I'm trying to find different ways to get my mom gifts for Mother's Day while saving money. This would be a really awesome way!! Thank you! This is a picture of my beautiful daughter and her Granny. Granny passed away 5 years ago but gave my children great memories and a loving connection which still remains. In the picture we were at a family reunion by the lake Elysian when Ava crawled up on Granny to relax and get some down time. I love this photo because of the peaceful and content look in their faces and the intimate and devoted connection in their hand holding. Julie and Ava Flaskamp and Granny (Portia Stepan)
