The Ike Reilly Assassination's four-night run at the Turf Club in 2001 is the stuff of local lore and still the main reason fans pack First Avenue to see the IRA every year on the night before Thanksgiving. Legend has it the gigs drew more and more people each night, and grew wilder and wilder (read: drunker and drunker). Nine years later, the Illinois rockers are planning to reprise their local residency over four nights around St. Patrick's Day, only this time they'll be changing venues from night to night. Here is the schedule of their so-called "Hard Luck Residency," named after their latest album, "Hard Luck Stories:"

March 16: Bryant-Lake Bowl (acoustic show) / March 17: The Turf Club (where else for St. Patty's?) / March 18: 7th Street Entry / March 19: Triple Rock

Tickets go on sale via each venue's usual outlets Friday at noon. Openers each night are still TBA.

FILE -- A rent deposit slot at an apartment complex in Tucker, Ga., on July 21, 2020. As an eviction crisis has seemed increasingly likely this summer, everyone in the housing market has made the same plea to Washington: Send money — lots of it — that would keep renters in their homes and landlords afloat.
