A head-on crash Monday morning in Eagan has left two SUV drivers dead.
The collision occurred about 5:40 a.m. in the northbound lane of Johnny Cake Ridge Road just south of Sherwood Way, according to police.
Both drivers — identified as Cory H. Hoesley, 33, of Hudson, Wis., and Pamela Ann Schmidt, 66, of Apple Valley — were declared dead at the scene, police said. Neither vehicle had passengers.
Roads in the area were closed until late in the morning to allow investigators to collect evidence.
