Authorities on Friday identified the man who was found fatally shot in a car that crashed over the weekend in downtown Minneapolis as it headed for the hospital.
Quentheus J. Watkins, 23, of Minneapolis, was shot multiple times near N. 4th Street and N. 24th Avenue, according to the Hennepin County Medical Examiner's Office.
No arrests have been announced.
Officers found Watkins dead about 2:40 a.m. Sunday at the crash scene, S. 6th Street and 4th Avenue, the examiner's office said.
Police spokesman John Elder said officers found three people in the vehicles. Another passenger in the car was transported to HCMC with noncritical injuries, police said.
