As the Trump administration’s immigration crackdown continues in Minnesota, Gov. Tim Walz is scheduled to speak this morning on Operation Metro Surge’s impact on small businesses.

Walz is scheduled to speak at 11 a.m. Also this morning, lawmakers on Capitol Hill are set to grill the leaders of ICE and Customs and Border Patrol during an oversight hearing.

Immigration attorneys were inside the Whipple Federal Building on Monday to visit clients and see conditions for themselves, following a judge’s ruling over the weekend. Attorneys are expected to share their findings in court.
