Ice, ice ice

The snow that was advertised has quite arrived yet, but rain, freezing rain and sleet that fell over night and continues to fall has done a number on the roads.

In simple terms, they are slick.

Already we have a crash blocking two lanes on westbound 94 at Hamline Avenue in St. Paul.

On westbound 494 at Delaware Avenue, the left shoulder is blocked with a spinout.

We've got another on on southbound Hwy. 100 at Glenwood Avenue in Golden Valley.

I'll be here all morning live blogging today's drive to work.

If you see or experience problems or delays on the roads, comment here, send an e-mail to drive@startribune.com or tweet to @stribdrive.

Keep the speeds down and be safe.

FILE -- A rent deposit slot at an apartment complex in Tucker, Ga., on July 21, 2020.
