I am dreaming of a white Christmas

Snow on the ground is the missing key ingredient this Christmas season

It is almost 11:30 PM on Christmas Eve and I just took a walk outside. The Christmas lights are up on the house and the neighborhood street is glowing with the colors of Christmas. I know it is Christmas Eve, but the lack of snow on the ground has me thinking a visit from Santa Claus is still weeks away.

As a life-long Minnesotan, I enjoy that we have four virbrant seasons. I do not want the snow to hit in October, but I realized tonight that I want a white Christmas. I know Santa Claus cannot deliver everything on Christmas, but as I check NORAD's Santa Tracker, I am hoping he will sprinkle the ground with snow as he visits Minnesota in just a few hours.
