January 10, 2010 at 8:25PM

Another cold day is in store for Northeasterners today. Highs throughout theregion will linger in the 20s, and harsh winds will make it feel even colder.Temperatures along the I-95 corridor from Washington, D.C., to Boston willhover around 10 degrees below normal.

Still, for sake of perspective, it helps to know the worst of January cold inthe East could yield single-digit highs in the big cities with readings holdingwell below zero across the north. Nothing like this is in sight for theEast.
