A collision between a semitrailer truck and a car around 9 p.m. Sunday night closed the Interstate 94 bridge over the St. Croix River at Hudson, Wis.
Authorities worked to clean up a resin type material that was leaking from the semi and the eastbound lanes remain closed. The material was highly flammable, but no fire was reported.

The bridge was reopened by 5:30 a.m., according to broadcast reports.

The accident happened in the eastbound lanes so traffic from Minnesota was rerouted onto Hwy. 95.
One person was transported to Regions Hospital in St. Paul.
The Minnesota State Patrol assisted the Wisconsin State Patrol and St. Croix County Sheriff's Office. For a time, traffic was backed up for miles into both states.
