A key ramp off Interstate 35W in Minneapolis is being closed for about a month.
Starting at 9 a.m. today, the exit from southbound 35W to Diamond Lake Road in Minneapolis will be closed.
The closure is needed to continue reconstruction work, including concrete paving, of the new southbound lanes around Diamond Lake Road.
To minimize the length of the closure, a temporary crossover will be built to provide access from 35W to Diamond Lake Road after one month.
All other freeway ramps at Diamond Lake Road will remain open.
