I-35 crash in Owatonna leaves woman dead, man hurt

A crash on Interstate 35 in Owatonna on Saturday left a woman dead and a man hurt, the State Patrol said. The crash happened about 1:40 p.m. north of Hoffman Street.

A northbound Chevrolet Impala crossed the median and collided with a Toyota Camry going south. Diane M. Evenson, 66, of Minneapolis, was killed.

Injured was Eric D. Lehrer, 55, of Owatonna, the Toyota's driver. He was taken to the hospital in Owatonna.
