A 19-year-old Hutchinson woman died Sunday following a wrong-way crash on Hwy. 169 near Jordan, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

The victim had not been identified as of Monday.

According to authorities, a Chaska man was driving north in the southbound lane of Hwy. 169 about 3:15 p.m. when he crashed head-on into an SUV near Delaware Avenue in St. Lawrence Township.

Michael Merland Morse, 34, of Chaska was taken to St. Francis Regional Medical Center in Shakopee. It wasn't known if alcohol was involved in the crash, the State Patrol said.

The other driver, Cassidy Nicole Martin, 20, of Gaylord, and passenger Alyssa Lynn Grutt, 20, of Hutchinson were taken to HCMC in Minneapolis with non-life-threatening injuries. The victim was a passenger in Martin's vehicle.
