Huge Northeast Contrast Friday!

The northeastern United States will experience a wide variety of weather Fridayas a stationary front divides two contrasting air masses.East of the front, the weather will be cloudy, brisk and chilly with widespreadshowers and afternoon temperatures only in the 40s and 50s.

West and south of the front, afternoon temperatures will climb well into the70s with some sunshine, but thunderstorms are possible later in the afternoonand evening.

The entire region will be mostly cloudy, windy and chilly for the weekend, withsome snow possible at the higher elevations.
