How to inspect your contractor

Residential building contractors, remodelers and roofers have to get a license from the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry. To check on whether your contractor has a license or enforcement action has been taken, contact the agency's contractor licensing unit at www.doli.state.mn.us/contractor.html or 651-284-5069.
