Ah! Mild weather is coming and just in time, too. The spring season officiallystarts this Saturday. By then, temperatures will be in the 60s all across themid-Atlantic and Ohio Valley regions, and not too far to the south, 70 degreeswill be reached.The trend toward mild weather in the East has already begun, but things willreally get going Thursday and Friday. Appropriately, spring fever warnings arenow in effect for much of the East.
With deepest regrets, I must point out that this warmup is just a tease. Colderweather will return to the Midwest this weekend, then reach the Northeast earlynext week. The transition between air masses will probably be accompanied by ashort period of heavy rain.
