How Much Snow to Expect Today

A major snowstorm got underway on Friday, and will continue to pummel themid-Atlantic today. The heaviest snow will pile up in southern New Jersey,Delaware, eastern Maryland and northeastern Virginia, where travel will benearly impossible. Up to a foot of additional snowfall will bury this areathrough tonight. When all is said and done, over 2 feet of snow will have piledup in spots.Snow will continue to blanket the remainder of the mid-Atlantic and Ohio Valleyas well. Another 1 to 3 inches will slow clean-up efforts through the end ofthe day.
